That was wonderful old hotel set in lively area, right by the center of historical Siracusa and the city centre and piazza del Duomo, the Giudecca and the market. Our room was unique and well laid out with a view;)))

our double room was new-fashioned with books as advertised. the hotel was in a super central location in the heart of ortigia. for dinner, we went to locanda del collegio, it was just next door to the venue.

We got fantastic value for our money at Casa Verbavolant. The rooms were perfect, especially if you like books and unique decor. The location couldn't have been better, right by the main square. And Fausta and Elio, the hosts, were absolutely wonderful, always going above and beyond to make our stay memorable.

My go-to place in Syracuse. Always choose it, no regrets. Staff found my lost necklace in first stay. Wi-Fi, lift, dryer, kitchenware, in-room breakfast, cots. Coming back for New Year.
